Q. What type of franchise is available?
A. We offer the opportunity to establish and operate an upscale retail jewelry store offering a combination of affordable fashion jewelry, women’s accessories and related items for women, including a number of jewelry items for men, in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Q. How much does the franchise cost?
A. We offer 2 franchise programs:
A single All That Glitz jewelry store. The estimated total investment necessary to begin operation of an All That Glitz franchise ranges from $290,400 to $485,533.
Multiple All That Glitz jewelry stores. The estimated total investment necessary to begin operation of multiple All That Glitz franchises ranges from $297,400 to $604,533 (but can be more if you choose to develop more than 10 units).
Q. How much is the fee for continuing support services?
A. The continuing services or “royalty fee,” is 6% of your gross sales and is paid weekly. This fee entitles you to use the “ALL THAT GLITZ” service mark, use of distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and other benefits that come with being an All That Glitz franchise.
Q. Will I have an exclusive territory?
A. You will not receive an exclusive territory. We will grant you a territory (called an “area of primary responsibility” or “area”), defined by zip codes or other physical, political or natural boundaries.
Q. What about advertising?
A. The All That Glitz name and reputation is an important part of our business. You will spend a minimum of $2,000 on grand-opening advertising during the first three months of operations. You will also spend at least 7% of your gross sales per month on local advertising. In addition, you will be expected to make Marketing Fund contributions of up to 2% of your weekly gross sales.
Q. How much training is provided?
A. The initial training covers all material aspects of the operation of an All That Glitz franchise and is comprised of on-the-job training.
Q. What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
A. The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is five years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for three successive terms of five years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
